I’ve made a lot of progress on my sander that uses a DC motor controlled by an RP2040 Zero and an L298N. I designed the PCB and 3d printed it. Then spent a ton of time putting on and adjusting copper tape to make sure everything works well. Then I soldered everything together and had to deal with some issues with the PCB, but with a few extra wires, I was able to make it work. Now that the electronics are finished, I’m going to work on the 3d printed case now.

Dump truck Steering Assembly Mostly Finished I recently finished working on the design for the steering assembly, which uses an SG90 servo. Although there are some adjustments left to make in terms of the tolerance levels, the basic design is complete. Next on the list is drawing the frame of the chassis or design the wheels. My experience with FreeCAD is not that great so far, so there might be some flaws in my model.
