• comments
  BUT stardance also recommends content based on WHO liked followed the
  project etc and thats the key

My SECOND devlog!
about the stuff i changed and added,

1. the navigator, i added and image beside the navigator, also made it more “interactive”, the cells now shine when you hover over them, and the text too (yay javascript!)
2. the music button is still the same, but is glitching out in some pages for some reason (have to fix that in the next devlog/ site update)
3. the different parts are now in different html’s, and the navigator is working properly funcionality-wise, there is also a “back to navigator” button in every page, which takes you… back to the navigator
4. the navigator also has a description text beside it, when you hover over the links, it shows a description of what to expect of that page and what is it.

As of what i will focus on for the next update, i think im probably going to add a banner on both sides, because its quite empty (nothing against simplicity) and focus on the “about me” section, since im planning some interactive parts, and is probably going to be the longest part.

(note to self, fix the site in mobile when its finnished, rn it works for desktop and pc)

“Heya! Welcome to the Cube Extract!”
its my first site ever!, ive done considerable progress but just some bulletpoints i would like to cite:

1. After hard work i made the top interface right, its probably not going to change.
2. Note to self: always update credits when you add something that you didnt make
3. After wanting to put music, getting the player wrong, resorting to use a changing image as a button, downloading the music, having problems because i forgot to download the image I MADE and instead was refrencing the url on imgur, fixing that, discovering that the music i wanted to put was actualy not free domain, spending 2h looking for alternatives, an then finally discovering that i COULD use the music because i didnt see that the artist actualy let the public use it as long as they were creditted and then finnaly adding the music, i got the background music to work. :D
   4.i have discovered recently that i DID NOT link hackatime to vscode properly so it was NOT tracking anything so it didnt track the past 2 days and instead only tracked the 18 mins after i fixed it.

Apart from al that, everything is running smoothly for this site, i hope that i actualy finnish this project and OH MY GOSH ITS 1AM.
