I have started out by creating the background for my website. I used one of Monets paintings, which I blurred, then added the boat back on so it could be a nonblurred focal point. I had to use an API for the font because I has something very specific in mind. This took while of trials and lots or error, until I finally got it to work. I want this title page to take up the whole screen, but to also be very simple, relaxing, and minimalistic as to not overwhelm the person using this site. When they scroll down there will be more full screen pages, but I am yet to code those!!

Temperature Analysis GUI
My project is a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to input the min and max temps for the past 2 weeks, then outputs the highest and lowest min and max values. Being a woman in tech I wanted the UI to be feminine and fun to inspire other women that just because tech is a male dominated field does not mean it can't be a creative expression. Adding a UI appreciated by women does not diminish its functionality but rather enhances it. I am so very proud of how this project has turned out!!

It now looks pretty!! It still functions in the same way, but I decided that I wanted to fix up the UI a bit. I love how it looks now and the colours make it clearer which entry box it the min and which is the max. It took forever to position the title because of the frames, but I got there eventually. I hope you enjoy it!!! :)

Temperature Analysis GUI! This project allows users to enter the temps of the past 2 weeks, and it saves that data, validates it to check that it is in a correct range of expected values but also that the entry has been filled in, and stores these values into a text tile, then from the text file it performs calculations.

I have created the GUI for the next screen two screens, as well as trying to fix the camera. The image bellow is of the final screen that shows the saved book and how many of the book have been added to the database, as well as the option to add another book.

#DevLog_3 Working on the hardware elements. Putting all the components on a bread board and wiring it up. Also worked on some test code, just to check that my wiring was correct and the LEDs turned on when the button was pressed

#DevLog_2 All wiring is complete!! I also added a push button so people can change that mode with a button. This also makes it interactive as it requires user input. I also worked on some code example for each mode.

#DevLog_1 I have started to figure out the wiring for the circuit. I used Tinkercad to do this. I ran into the main problem of it not all fitting onto in breadboard, and some of the LEDs didn’t light up. Also the wires look really messy, but I plant to sort that out after it all works!!
