Devlog3 -
-Finally completed the firmware and Onshape Designing
*First I had to take all the measurements form KI ca, implemented mounting holes and, according to the measurements making supporting beams, and walla it was done
*Later I worked on QMK firmware, broo not gonna lie it looked super intimidating initially but when I actually sat down and started working on it everything unraveled itself to form this not perfect but, one which logically made sense.
Cant wait to test it physically test it!!!!
Devlog 2- The regret and redemption 😭
I was so hyped up to make a macro pad, I posted my first devlog, after all that time tweaking the wire routes, figuring out why gerber files are called gerber files, running the DRC just to find out that 3 error, and redoing everything, I accomplished my dream board, OHHH noooooooooooo, bro i read the FAQ the next day and found out tht you cannot use other microcontrollers for this project, that feeling was awful, but it sparked evenmore tenacity in me, i worked in kicad for about 6 hours just to run into more DRC issues, 30 mins of rerouting everything.
AND FINIALLY- I was done with KICAD just to began the CAD, 2 hours in i found out that you have hackatime for onshape, isn’t that cool, bro 😭 couldn’t anyone hv told me that sooner. even after these setbacks i installed the extension and moved on.
AND FINNALY I WAS DONE WITH CAD AND KICAD
on first glance it might not look much but for a noob, and a learner i really took alot of time
Just learnt to use KICAD, its just the start wait for more to come.😆– What else should I add to maxx it out!!!!?
