I am building a macropad to use for shortcuts in applications such as CAD, Spotify, etc.

I made a macropod called the handypad! The most challenging part was probably designing the PCB since it was my first time. The clean CAD is probably what I am most proud of. Everything you should know is pretty straightforward. the keys are short cuts screen displays an animation and knob is for volume.

Added all the 3d models to the components for 3d viewer and finished designing the PCB. spent an hour sorting out DRC issues.

Removed one switch for better component placement. Finished routing the traces after a while of trying to figure out why I couldn’t draw a trace over another.
