A NASA-themed type tester built in Python. Blitz features a space-inspired UI with NASA aesthetics — think mission control vibes, cosmic color schemes, and astronaut-friendly. Built for people who want to feel like they're writing from the ISS.

Ship #1 Changes requested

Blitz Type is a NASA-inspired typing speed trainer built with pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The project features a real-time typing test with live WPM and accuracy tracking, animated starfield backgrounds, ambient space-themed music, mission-based progression, and a celebration screen with confetti after completing three passages. Users can practice on multiple unique passages while tracking their performance throughout the session.

One challenge was implementing accurate typing statistics that count mistakes even if users later correct them. I also spent time refining the UI to create a polished "mission control" experience with smooth animations and responsive interactions.

I'm proud of the overall user experience, especially the space-themed design, animated background, mission completion system, and the fact that everything was built without frameworks.

To test:
• Click "Try Project"
• Click anywhere and start typing
• Complete 3 passages to see the mission completion screen
• Use Tab to skip passages and Esc to restart
• Hover over the volume icon to adjust background music volume
