Robotic Arm

This is a manually controlled robotic arm. Powered by an ESP32 microcontroller, the system uses servo motors to control five movements: base rotation, shoulder movement, elbow movement, wrist movement, and gripper operation. The arm is controlled through the Blynk IoT mobile application, allowing the user to position the arm.

The project demonstrates the practical application of robotics, embedded programming, servo motor control, and IoT-based manual control.

Ship #1 Pending review

I built a robotic arm using the ACEBOTT QD007 robotic arm kit and an ESP32 microcontroller. My goal was to make the arm controllable through a mobile interface using Blynk IoT.

One of the most challenging parts was getting the ESP32 connected to Blynk and making the servo motors respond correctly to the controls. I also had to work through wiring, power supply, and programming issues.

I’m proud that I managed to get the robotic arm working and build a control interface with five sliders for its different movements. I learned a lot about ESP32 programming, servo motors, Wi-Fi communication, and IoT.

People can explore the project, understand how the arm works, and try the virtual robotic arm simulator through my project demo. The physical arm is controlled using the Blynk IoT app.

This is my 5-DOF robotic arm, and now after uploading my code I’m checking whether it is able to communicate with my mobile hotspot or not.
