Stock Return Calculator
I made a Stock Return Calculator that lets users enter a stock’s purchase price, selling price, and number of shares to calculate their total profit or loss and percentage return.
The most challenging part was getting the JavaScript to work correctly. I ran into a few HTML errors, and initially the calculate button wasn’t doing anything. I debugged the error and figuered out what was wrong and fixed it.
I’m proud that I got a working website online and learned how to code with HTML and JavaScript.
To test it, enter your purchase price, your selling price, and however many shares you want. Click Calculate Returns, and it should show your profit and return.

Today I worked on my Stock Return Calculator, a website that calculates stock investment profits and percentage returns. I had trouble with the design but learned how to use CSS to make it look good. Also the calculation wouldn’t work so I had to debug it and figued out what was wrong with the logic.
