I made a Fortnite Inspired Web OS that has 2 apps: An App for taking notes for strategy and an app that you can paint on and clear to plan your game out. It also displays the current date and time in the top right corner

Final touches:

  • Made a paint app where you paint on the current season’s map
  • Made Making new apps even easier by making it into 1 function
  • Arranged the apps into rows

What I did this time around:

  • Created First app: Strategy Notes
  • Made new functions for making windows easier
  • Top Bar always on top
  • The window that you last interacted with will be on top of the other windows

After 2 hours of experimenting with styles and JavaScript, here’s what I got done this time:

  • Added a top bar that has the OS name, date, and time
  • Added welcome window
  • Added new styling file to hold the styles for each class
  • Made windows draggable and closable

I started creating the welcome screen for my operating system. I decided to make it Fortnite themed because It’s my favorite video game. What I did:

  • Added Fortnite picture from chapter 2
  • Styled body text
  • Changed the background color
