A sonar with a MAX 8x8 Display with a small case for the HR SR04 and a attachment for the SG99 (The attachment is not selfmade i got it from grabcad). A small project to help me get used to the MAX7219 and HC SR04 Sonar.

Devlog #2 Sonar. Finished the Project with a bigger housing and tested it well it works. Fun little side project so i can get my mind abit off my flightcontroller.

Devlog #1 Sonar. Today I built a sonar scanning system using an Arduino Uno, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, an SG99 micro servo and an 8x8 MAX LED. Compared to some of my bigger builds, this was a much easier project this time around but it was super fun to put together and see working so quickly! Mounted the HC sensor and SG99 servo onto a custom 3D printed (modeled in Onshape). Programmed a continuous 0° to 180° servo sweep in Arduino C++. Mapping angle sweeps across the 8 matrix rows and distance measurements across the 8 matrix rows. Created a GitHub repository with everything and it was almost done only thing left is abit of refining the Case for the HC
