My first slack bot!
first project, just getting started! i made a beginner slack bot that replies to basic commands, live 24/7. havent coded in over 3 years, so this was a big refresher for me. its nothing much, but surpisingly a lot of work was put into this. respect to all engineers and software coders! also provided cool insights on how bots on platforms like discord are made lol.

so much troubleshooting, had to change many codes and add new insertions. finally after ~40 mins it worked

added some new quote thing (im just trying to make the bot do more things, i might have some plans to integrate the bot into other platforms, hopefully more advanced stuff)

i had a wonderful idea inspired by claude ai, to create a command such that the bot would display and elaborate on NASA’s daily astronomy picture of the day (apod).
having some minor issues right now, like the picture not loading and only displaying the nasa icon. gonna continue tommorrow
