Powered by the lightweight gemma3:1b model running right on the user’s local machine, it provides instant support even with zero internet connectivity, while seamlessly pulling live web data whenever a connection is available.I am thrilled to announce that the project is officially built, tested, and submitted to the Stardance Arcade! 🎉What I Gained from This JourneyBuilding this hybrid system wasn’t just about writing code; it was a massive learning experience that helped me grow as an aspiring Developer Advocate:• Edge Computing Skills: Figuring out how to optimize and run a model as compact as gemma3:1b efficiently on everyday consumer hardware.• Smart Routing Logic: Designing a seamless fallback system that instantly switches between local inference and live API scraping depending on the user’s network status.• User-Centric Design: Learning how to build developer tools with empathy, ensuring that students with limited resources aren’t left behind in the AI revolution.• The Hack Club Spirit: Earning awesome arcade tickets while building something that genuinely solves a real-world problem for my peers.What’s Next?Just because the hackathon is ending doesn’t mean the project is! No problem! Come on, ask me anything.How it works: Exactly like other AI-Assistants. If it has no internet, you will get information that is stored locally in the gemma3:1b model. If you have internet, no problem—it will pull live information for you!Wait for the next devlog where we will see what I gained after submitting this. This is my 2nd devlog!

I noticed that many people, especially students, want to use AI for their studies but cannot afford expensive internet recharges or data plans. On top of that, many major AI brands are now limiting their free tiers. This project is dedicated to everyone who cannot afford to spend large amounts of money just to access AI.As interesting as it sounds, it will work exactly as envisioned!
