Glyph is a browser puzzle game where every row and column follows a hidden rule across shape, color, and count
hello!! in this 3.2hrs (i forgot to post devlogs earlier :/) I built a browser puzzle game about finding the hidden rule. every row and column of a 3x3 grid follows a pattern across shape, color, and count, and you have to work out what belongs in the missing cell.
got the core game engine running with latin square logic across 4 difficulty tiers—starting simple with just color, then bringing in shape, count, and full grid mixups. added endless mode with 3 lives and streak tracking, a seeded daily challenge with wordle-style emoji sharing, per-round timers for fastest solves, and a hint system that reveals attributes if you’re stuck. hooked up local storage so best streaks and daily results persist, polished the layout with CSS flex/grid, and threw in confetti for new bests. zero backend, zero login
