im gonna steal(fetch) all weather data of the user's location mwhahaha. This Website requests permission for location and sends API requests to Open Meteo for weather information and a separate request to bigdatacloud.net for displaying the location. To display Time, the built-in JS features such as setInterval & timeString are used. Basically its a weather app.

What I found challenging was making the AQI feature work and making the correct URLs for the API calls.
I’m Proud of the structure that I’ve given to my JS. The JS is not messily tangled altogether but rather in neat blocks of code. This prevents everything from breaking if one thing breaks. Another thing is the way I’ve used THREE APIs for this. sounds big.

The project is officially done!!! I got over with the AQI, and went on to add some animations to the website and two separate alerts. One alert for high UV and one alert for high chance of rain.

Okay. A lot has happened now actually. I’ve a big weather condition block, added time, location, added a lot more of CSS, added stickers too! Working on adding AQI and potentially FORECAST! i probably wont be doing forecast cuz AQI adding AQI has a lot more extra steps than adding the other stats, and i dont seem to figure it out. See the github commits for the proper progressions of features. i forgot about devlogs sorry

I finally got the browser to ask for the user’s permission for location. NOT a fan of making error messages work.
