September 19, 2026Today I started working on my personal website. I wanted a simple place where people could learn a little about me, see my talents, and find my contact information. I first created the main HTML structure. I added a navigation bar and three sections: About, Talents, and Contact. After that, I used CSS to add colors, spacing, borders, and a responsive layout. My first design looked too complicated and flashy, so I simplified it. I removed unnecessary effects, used normal fonts, and made the layout easier to understand. I chose navy, blue, yellow, and white as the main colors. I originally had a Projects section, but I changed it to a Talents section because I do not have many completed projects yet. I added web development, creative thinking, and problem solving as talents I am currently improving.I also added my real information:My nameMy email addressMy GitHub profileOne challenge was making the navigation work properly on mobile devices. I used a small amount of JavaScript to open and close the menu. JavaScript also automatically displays the current year in the footer. This project helped me understand HTML sections, CSS Grid, responsive design, media queries, and basic JavaScript. I also learned that a website does not need lots of effects to look good. Simple colors, clear text, and good spacing can make a big difference.AI helped by checking the code and design. I reviewed the website and requested changes to make it simpler and more personal. In the future, I would like to add real projects, a profile picture, and possibly a dark mode.
