simple-alarm (blare) Devlog #3 (closing devlog)

Phew, After a long month of on and off working on this project (due to school and life), I am happy to say that I “might” have finally finished this project.

What I did

I finished up the code for the alarm, this took a while as this is one of my first times working with c++, especially with hardware. I also separated the project into it’s respected structure (as described in the blare guide)

Problems I’ve faced

I did not really have any way to visualize the screen(other than like wokwi, but that was hard to work with). So I had to use AI to help me with this, without ai I feel like I would have taken much longer for this project. AI(or SI nowadays) is just a tool (just like wokwi) and I think some people are too harsh on it. Politics aside, I also faced some problems with splitting my parts in CAD into bottom and top, I ended up by just selecting the relevant bottom parts and exported it manually that way since my union for them were not working.

Going forward

I don’t have much further plans for this project but if I feel like it, I might add some cool functionality to this thing.
