I created a macropad called MarcinhoPad (I couldn’t think of what to call it, so I decided to combine my name with the word ‘pad’ at the end). This project really challenged me, as it was the first ‘big’ project I’ve ever made. But the most annoying thing that gave me a huge headache was the LEDs. Man, it felt like nothing was working! I would run the ERC and it gave so many errors, so many errors, that I almost gave up on the project, but I decided to just remove them—didn’t want any more headaches, lol. Not to mention the 3D modeling: I spent two nights without sleep just thinking about it. Before going to school, I would make use of the 1 hour I had, get up, and turn on the PC right away to try to finish the model. Same thing when I got back, exhausted and only thinking about sleep, but there I was, learning 3D modeling, lol. Now, what made me think ‘I’m the man’ the most—my ego totally inflated when I finished the project and it got approved. Man, my heart raced with joy, I saw that my hard work paid off! Ah, I was almost forgetting, lol: to test the project, all you need is Arduino IDE installed. Connect the board to your computer’s USB, clone my repository, and flash my code.
