I had to completely redesign the drone because the board’s irl dimensions didn’t allow the previous alignment. I then redesigned the drone so that it’s still a pusher, but now it has more space for the board and the other components. I also added a dedicated battery compartment. I also got the weight down to 38g.
I noticed that the o4 mounting was not adhering well so I increased thicknes and changed the slicer settings so that it had a higher temperature. Below images of the reprint and the first failure.
I added this spacer so that i can use 30mm screws to mount the stack and keep them from interfering with the o4 mounting. Its still not to the actual measurments and i will probably have to add something for the battery to it.
i finished working on the camera and battery mount (basic) the drone will be pusher so the stack mount will act as a base and the camera and battery will go on top.
I began by changing the design from long range to a freestlye drone mainly because of the budget, since i was not sure if the drone would qualify for x tier funding. for this drone i have most of the components so it will be cheaper to fund.
