I built an amazing Slack bot called “Unknown Bot”, using Python and Flask. It has three custom slash commands: /unknown-ping checks if the bot is online, /unknown-joke to send you a random joke, and /unknown-time to show the server time. I deployed the bot online and then connected it to Slack.

Building Unknown, My First Slack Bot.

So, I started building a Slack bot called Unknown using Python and Flask. I have set up the project in VS Code, installed the required Python packages, and also created the first working version of the bot. I created three custom Slack slash commands: /unknown-ping, /unknown-joke, and /unknown-time.
The local server is working, and the next step is deploying the bot so it can stay online 24/7.
