An annoying alarm clock. Meant to be annoying.

Great job on this! I like your readme, it's cool how you did the center align. Have fun building it!

Devlog 3

Ok, so I’m done. Just got everything ready, think nothing else for me to do.

Also, I realized I don’t get stardust for the design, which is sad, and now I won’t be able to afford the thing I wanted. :(

I also found out that I can’t log the build here since I’m out of time, but I also can’t log it in Fabricate or anything else(I think), which is also sad :(

But I’m going to get the kit, so I really don’t care too much. I just want to build it for myself.

So yeah, going to ship it now I think.

What I did

Ok, so most of the time logged was working on the CAD. I’m going to keep my CAD pretty basic for now, since I’m not completely comfortable with Onshape to do any meaningful changes.

Once I get the kit, however, I’ll probably make a better case, and if I want to, I’ll make another one in Blender. I know Blender’s not recommended, but I’ve been using it for so long, it’ll be much easier for me to make changes so it looks better. But that’s for later.

I don’t really know what else to write in the Devlog. I’ve literally lapsed all my CAD, and now I’m starting with the firmware. Probably going to only do some basic firmware until I get the kit so I can actually test stuff out.

Notes

I’ve attached below a screenshot of my case design. Thanks for reading!

Devlog 1

Ok, just a note, I didn’t know I had to devlog even while lapsing everything, so it is a bit later than I would have liked, since I’ve already done 3 hours of work.

Overview

So I’m following the mission guide to create an alarm clock. I decided to have 6 buttons in mine, which is the main change for the electronic part of it, and I have some ideas for the CAD portion.

What I’ve done so far

So far, I’ve made the schematic, the pcb, and am starting with the CAD. I am a beginner in electronics, so all of that took me a lot of searching stuff up and figuring things out, but I think it turned out good.

Notes

I’ve attached below a screenshot of my pcb. I don’t really have much else to say, since I kinda need to go to sleep, so I might edit this later with more info.
