A retro 1980s witth teletext theme web page featuring current NOAA space weather geomagnetic data and NASA's APOD using only keyboard to change the pages.
I made telespace100, a retro 80s teletext space portal. It fetches live space weather data from NOAA, displays NASA’s Picture of the Day, and features a Spaceflight News feed with clickable links to full articles.
The hardest part was getting the CRT visual effect right using CSS and setting up keyboard navigation without breaking the classic teletext layout. I’m really proud of how authentic the UI feels and how all the dynamic space APIs blend together.
To test it, just use your keyboard numbers like typing 100, 200, 300 or 400 to jump between pages and explore the news, space weather, and images.

I roughly finished my project. At least I completed it as it’s purposes.
In the page 200, you can see the current magnetic activity level of the Earth, status inducatur and measurement date.
In the page 300, you can see the daily news about space and the picture of day from NASA.
In the Page 400, you can see the current developments about space.

I approximately 1 hour ago started my new project that I named TeleSpace100. What this project can do:
Transform the browser’s New Tab page into a retro 1980s TV Teletext interface.
Fetch and display live space data from NASA and NOAA APIs in real time.
Enable authentic retro navigation using only page number keypresses instead of a mouse like 100, 200 and 300.
