a nasa astronomy picture of the day (APOD) site that fetches the daily space image/video using the NASA public API and displays it. also built a personal dashboard that saves your viewing history, favorites, and notes using localStorage - no backend needed. pretty cool that nasa just gives u this data for free ngl

the hardest part was getting the dashboard to not show 404 - turns out vite needs a special config for multiple html pages and i had NO idea about that. spent way too long on it
im proud of the dashboard honestly, it has stats, a profile u can edit, favorites grid, notes that autosave - it actually feels like a real product
to test it: just go to the site, it loads today’s nasa pic automatically. then click “go to my dashboard” at the bottom to see the dashboard (your visit gets saved to history automatically!)

Thought to add hackclub auth in my NASA APOD app but i am not allowed to do so. Hence i am going to use firebase as i had mentioned earlier. Then my focus will be on improving design.

Isn’t it strange , even i have added api now its stucks at loading because api is not returning anything.I am dead now i had taken care of all things mentioned in guide still getting error !! . wELL I will fix it very soon anyhow .

Made the first screen .I have not added api yet thats why it is throwing error . Will improve design when i finally add api and i am thinking of adding firebase authentication for auth as i have used it a few times. Will keep updating , stay tuned.
