I built QuantumOS, a futuristic, web-based operating system. The most challenging part was engineering the custom drag logic for the windows and resolving a Git split-timeline issue when deploying my background image. I am most proud of the custom features I added beyond the base requirements: a functional taskbar that revives closed apps, a live digital clock, and dynamic system uptime telemetry. To test it, drag the windows around, close them, and click the neon taskbar icons at the bottom to relaunch them!

“Just finished setting up the foundational HTML structure for my project, QuantumOS! Instead of starting with a standard desktop, I decided to build a custom boot sequence. I have the initial welcome screen and ‘Initialse System’ button laid out in the DOM. Next up: adding futuristic, sci-fi styling with CSS and hooking up the Javascript so the button actually launches the main OS interface.”
