I forgot to record myself assembling the case out of excitement, so I lost like 3 stardust there :(. aside from that the case looks great! 
📻 💣 Modelling the curve was fairly simple, just a spline cutting off the top of the case and a bunch of minor cleanup for the random little bits I missed

I’ve locked in with 3d modeling and learned how amazing flatbed scanners are for creating scaled reference for 3d modeling, I’ve made a super well fitting case in quite a short amount of time! Photos included below, next I need to make the case smooth and curvy to better fit the user’s hand.

Big things! I have two working usb rechargeable radios my friend saw the duct tape one and wanted his rechargeable too! (with a proper case), Next I’m going to write a mod guide, as I have been taking pictures of the process and make some cases!
The battery circuit is super simple, It’s just an 18650, a charger board and a fuse (ask why I am now using a fuse) the whole mod is less than $10

So my friend gave me a bare circuit board for a premium nextech 0.5 UHF walkie talkie. I’m going to make a 3d printed case with space for a lithium battery that fits a nextech radio’s curcuit board, because we all know that cheap radio with smash the microsecond you drop it. So far I have built a Shrek Pod of a radio using stuff I had.
