ignr is a small command-line tool that fetches .gitignore templates directly from Github's official github/githinore repo, so you never have to manually open the site, find your language, and copy-paste the contents into a new project by hand. It offers multiple features, including the ability to select commonly used language templates or create and add your own custom templates.

I have made a small command line tool that fetches .gitignore templates directly from Github’s official github/gitignore repository. That way I do not need to always open the website, search for the template and then copy paste it. The most challenging part was to actually create the github Actions file, where AI then supported me with that.

This is the migration from Macondo to Stardance, so there will be only one devlog

This is a simple tool I built to solve a problem I had in my daily coding flow.

The issue was realtively simple, and so was the solution

For this project, I used Typer and InquirerPy for the terminal experience, along with basic web fetching to retrieve the templates
