I built dheeyudhha, a gamified learning platform with a next.js web dashboard and a react native mobile app. the main feature i shipped today is a live AI coach that helps you step-by-step when you get stuck on a question, and it can even grade handwritten answers!
The mobile app layout was super annoying to get right. i spent hours trying to fix this weird bug where my floating AI coach button kept getting hidden behind the react navigation stack whenever i switched screens. getting the transparent bottom sheet modal to pop up smoothly with the keyboard without blocking the text input was also a huge pain.
Definitely the AI integration! i managed to completely rip out my old gemini setup and switch the whole backend to use azure openai so the tutor is much smarter now. i’m also really proud of how the bottom sheet UI for the AI chat turned out—it looks super clean and feels like a premium native app.

if you want to test the AI coach on the mobile app, just tap the floating sparkles icon at the bottom! if you try to run the backend locally, make sure you add the azure openai keys to your env file, otherwise just use the live vercel link provided to test it.
