Devlog 7:
-Started with the case.
Extra:
I didn’t realise until now that I have no real way to prevent the case from just falling appart. So I will add an extra screwhole or smt that can hold on to the front parts of the case.
Devlog 6:
-Rewired the screen connector because the extension cable didn’t have any room.
-Imported everything into Fusion.
That’s all for today.
Devlog 5:
-Added some text and a QR-code placeholder.
-Made a way to securely mount the PCB in the case.
Extra:
I think I’ll stick with the old layout (with a few changes) for the most part.
Kinda short and simple again but that will do for today. See ya in the next one
Devlog 4:
-Finished the PCB
Extra:
I finished making the PCB.
…
Yeah, that’s kinda it for this time too.
…
Hmm, kinda boring. Right?
…
Well, anyway. I found a way to make the layout of the switches how I actually wanted them to be from the beginning. So after I’m done with this version I’ll try making the preferred layout. That’s all for this devlog. See ya in the next one
Devlog 3:
-Started with the PCB.
Extra:
Nothing much this time, and I have not drawn the new layout yet since I had school today.
Devlog 2:
-Made some changes to the design/layout of the finished product
-Finished the schematic for the PCB.
Extra:
When I was making the schematic I remembered that Spotify made a similar looking device that was called “Car Thing” and that it was discontinued a few years ago. So now I have decided to change the layout a bit and add a rotary encoder to match the volume dial on the “Car Thing”. Because it looked good and adds functionality.
Maybe I will add the new layout in the next devlog because I just made it up in my mind.

Devlog 1:
-Did a sketch of the case to get an idea of the overall shape and dimensions.
Extra:
This is the first devlog of the clock I’m making for the “BLARE” mission. I plan on mounting it on my monitor riser. It will work as an alarm, stopwatch, timer, and media controller. Maybe I’ll add a rotary encoder too. We’ll see.
