RetroTabs

Retro tabs is was based of windows 95 and provides the user with transportation to the 90’s while keeping the ability to use 2026 tech. This project was inspired by my love for the decade and the many many opportunites the 90s provided with tech. It was also a time of great curiosity and hope. People were still belving in a greater future because of the great advancements in the past 10 20 30 years.
I wanted to capture this feeling this lifestyle of optimisim and hope of a brighter future. The idea that everything will work out even if people are feeling down on themselves or in a low spot. We may have to boil an ocean to capture that feeling but at least retro tabs is able to provide the fire to the stovetop that just needs time. I firmly beleive these things and that retro tabs has the ability to catch the spirit of a brighter better future.
I used ai to teach me code Im not much of a copy paster guy that just feels like cheating but some of it is from gemini teaching me the ways of the coder yes sorry that im a begginer coding student trying to learn an art that once took decades to master. So of course im going to use a free tutor to teach me an art so I can become more profficent. Think of the ai as more of an ear pod i can listen to it I can not but either way im the one whos gets the say at the end of the day if the codes in there or not.
Sorry for blabbering on about a fairly simple project I seem to be having some sort enjoyment while writing this.
