I made Cosmic View, a website that uses NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day API to bring a different view of the universe to the screen. You can explore APODs by date, move between previous and next days, check out a random APOD, and view the image, title, description, and other details. it was alot of fun making it and i really enjoyed this experience but it does’nt mean it was easy.
i didn’t knew much of javascript so i learned it from beginning i from tutorials, tips from friends and ai too,the most challenging part was connecting the NASA API and making sure the data was displayed correctly on the website. I ran into a few JavaScript and HTML issues, especially small ID mismatches that caused parts of the page to break.
I’m most proud that I built the project myself and got all the features working together. I also like how the final design turned out because it feels like a proper space-themed website rather than just a basic API project.

Built a NASA picture viewer from scratch. Shows the daily space picture with title and description.i have added a random button to just get a random picture from NASA and it description from past.if you like you check any previous APODs from previous button. it was pretty great experience for me as learned so much , i knew css and html pretty good but i barely used javascript before this so it took me a while to get hands on it .
i used some youtube tutorials and some ai too(just for debugging) to get help in javascript because when i finished my project i was having some issues in showing of pictures and it turned out to be just a typo error ,but anyways im still proud of this project because it looks so cool!! i spend a lot of time on styling it on css :) i hope you guys like it
