My first project as a relatively new coder is a simple python script that works to grab chess.com stats based on an inputted chess.com username which could then be narrowed down by each time control: bullet for short games, then blitz, and finally rapid for longer games. This involved using the JSON packages within the API data and navigating it through a python dictionary. As an avid chess enthusiast, I wanted to do something simple in code yet related to my favorite hobby!
