I have finished building the pcb. It surprisingly pretty easy apart from a few problems. Firstlt ive never soldered before and had to learn as i go. Secondly i soldered the rotary encoder bent but it works. Thirdly i burnt the plastic switches trying to solder the upside down seed pins. And lastly my cad model was wrong and the pcb doesnt sit flush with the lid so i had to imprvise and keep the lid at an angle. Currently im working on the firmware

After a while i finally manage to fix all the erros and finish designing my pcb

Designing the layout was easy enough but the hard bit was wiring all the components. I learnt alot during these ~3hrs which will help me with pcbs in the future. Now onto the case

Dev Log 1 : New Beginnings

I started yet another project (hopefully i finish this one!). I started this electronics project by making my schematics which i thought would be easy enough… Wrong. The schematic took 2 AND A HALF HOURS. Mainly because of an error that even Claude didn’t help me with lmao. but in the end i just put a pwr_flag on a power pin and the error was resolved.

YAYAY we got a 0 error schematic. Onto my favorite part. The PCB.
