I have created NetWatch, a terminal-based Python utility that uses ARP scanning to discover active devices on a local network, identify their hostnames and hardware vendors, and export the results in either csv or json format.

Devlog #1 - I’ve started building NetWatch, a Python network monitoring tool.
So far I’ve implemented:
Automatic local IP and subnet detection
ARP-based device discovery using Scapy
MAC address detection
Hostname lookup
MAC vendor identification
My first successful scan discovered 11 devices on my network.
