Devlog-12 Trying to ship my website, but failing terribly.

Devlog-11; Very stressful day. But anyways, I have finished overview and statistics section. Also, I have removed from comparsion and history section. I am losing my interest in this project now.

Devlog-10; Hey Guys! It’s newtongks. Today, I just wanted to finish as much work, as I could, in lesser time. So, I integrated a youtube video on my home page. And, for my final dashboard, I had to go to w3schools to learn some dom manipulation which helped me integrate eventlistener property so, I can already calculate and send the final stuff to user and when they will click each tab they can see values. And, Blast integration is incredible but slow. I wasn’t able to integrate it. If anyone wants to help me, please comment down below.

Devlog-9; Hey Guys! It’s newtongks. Today, I was in a good mood. So, firstly, I went to add a cute footer in base.html. (Great shout out to w3schools for teaching me that.) Then, I started creating providers.html to acknowledge the tech stacks, I am going to use in my project. Then, I created about.html in diary entry format so each person can read it. Last work was to create analyze.html uploader button. It was preety rough. I didn’t knew js, so had to ask to chatgpt (https://www.chatgpt.com) and get this code for my uploader.

Devlog-8 Hey Guys! It’s newtongks. Today, I am busy in adding comments to existing codebase, cause all program had became big mess.

Devlog-6 Hey guys! It’s newtongks. It’s Day 6 of creating a biopython website. So, today I integrated cloud mysql in my django admin panel. Then, I went on to create file upload section which supports (.gb and .fasta) format. (You will soon see its usage.) Then, I have created my final dashboard panel. Everything else, will be shown in next update. Stay tuned!!!! Love you all!!!!!

Devlog - 5; Hey Guys! It’s newtongks. It’s Day 5 of creating a biopython website. So, today, I created base.html, So I don’t need to write repetitive code many times. I created issues form. For this, first I created a model.py where I defined how to store the data. Then, I created forms.py to create the form to be displayed on website. Then, I created my admin panel using built-in form to view the issues which are reported. It was super fun!!! Bye Bye!

#Devlog-4; Hey guys! It’s newtongks. It’s day 4 of designing a biopython website. So, today I added a navigation bar in my website, designed the logo for it and wrote style.css. I have decided to add home, about, providers, issues and a search bar (will add in next devlog). Thank you! Love you all!

Today, I was working on Bioseq project. Basically, it’s from Biopython used for analyzing DNA sequence. Initially, I thought working on flask. But, I personally felt that django will be more appropriate for my project.

So, this is start of my django journey.
