SpeakMeter
When practicing English speaking, I couldn’t tell how many words I was saying or if there were many duplicates. That is why I developed SpeakMeter. SpeakMeter uses a web-based speech-to-text API to convert the user’s voice into text and tells them how many words they are saying and which words are duplicates. To keep it as simple as possible—allowing users to come, use, leave, and return at any time—I did not include login or database connection features.

I’m building SpeakMeter, a simple tool use while studying English. I can practice speaking and quickly check my speaking time, WPM, vocabulary, repeated words, and filler words.
