My awesome macropad!

Redesigned my macropad LAZ-E because I was uncertain whether m previous design would work because of the oled and microcontroller dimensions and placement so i had to redesign the entire layout to make it work and honestly I think the new design is better than the previous one….#tired

Almost completed the routing of my Macropad LAZ-E….will move ahead to the designing part after fixing the errors…..

Made some changes in the layout of my Macropad; LAZ-E. KiCad crashed when I finished and I didnt save so I to do it all over again #lESSONlEARNT. I am getting clearance issue in all the leds when I run the DRC..would appreciate if someone helps me with that. That’s it for now.. Will route afterwards..

I was designing the first schematic of my life for my Macropad which I have named LAZ-E because its for the Lazy and By a Lazy human and I can say that it was fun luckily the time I spent on studying about Kicad and keyboards proved to be fruitful and I used a 4x3 matrix for the switches and a I/O expander PCF8574T to get enough pins for both the encoders and the 10 keys and I am using 14 LEDs 10 for the backlit and 4 for ambience. Thats it for now!
