YSH v8 was one of the versions where the project started becoming much more than a basic terminal.
This version brought major work around the GUI and filesystem, while also pushing YSH toward a more complete and usable environment. It became an important foundation for the features and architecture that came later in v10.
Looking back at v8 now, it’s pretty cool seeing how much the project has evolved from this point.
