A free-to-use Slack Bot packed with mini-games and a few things you probably didn't know you needed.

Ship #1

~/SLAIR is now LIVE!

What is ~/SLAIR ?

~/SLAIR is a free-to-use Slack Bot packed with mini-games and a few things you probably didn’t know you needed!

Where does the name ~/SLAIR come from?

The name ~/SLAIR comes from my other project ~/KLAIR which was a Discord Bot. As this bot is similar to ~/KLAIR in features but for Slack instead of Discord, I’ve decided to name it ~/SLAIR.

Features:

~/SLAIR is designed to be a small, fun, free-to-use bot that aims to add a bunch of entertaining features.

Mini Games:

/slair-coinflip Flip a coin
/slair-guessthenumber Try to guess the number
/slair-rps Challenge the bot
/slair-unscramble Unscramble the word

Other Commands:

/slair-8ball Ask the magic 8-ball
/slair-cat Get a random cat
/slair-dog Get a random dog
/slair-cryptoprice Check cryptocurrency prices
/slair-uselessfact Receive a completely useless fact

AI Usage:

Used Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) in Antigravity to fix errors and bugs in the code which I couldn't figure out how to solve. AI was primarily used to debug /slair-unscramble and /slair-guessthenumber commands as I couldn't figure out how to open modals upon clicking a button.

Devlog - 4

Aw man, I forgot to post a devlog againnnnnn! Anyways, I’ve now ported the /unscramble and /guessthenumber commands to ~/SLAIR now!

Creating both of these commands was a challenge and I had to utilize Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) in Antigravity to get it working. The main challenge I faced was to make the modals open upon a button click and work exactly how modals do in Discord.

Also, ignore the stuff I covered with red, those responses were just for testing what works and what bugs there are which I need to fix.

=> This is the last Devlog! I’ll NOT be adding the nim Mini Game to ~/SLAIR for now.

Didn’t even realize it took me 46 minutes to make this lol. Anyways, I’ve now ported the /coinflip and /rockpaperscissors command to ~/SLAIR now!

Creating this was somehow a challenge and I almost lost my mind trying to figure out how to get these buttons working! I’ll take a break for now and will be back with another Devlog very soon!

This will most probably be one of the last few Devlogs before the first Ship!

Made some more progress in porting the features of ~/KLAIR to the Slack Bot ~/SLAIR.

I’ve added the /cryptoprice and /8ball commands now which utilize the Slack Modal to ask the person for their input.

I’ll try to port the mini games to ~/SLAIR too and that will be the V1 of the Slack Bot!

Devlog - 1

I started working on my Slack Bot and completely forgot I also need to post my progress here. Well, till now, I’ve been able to port the /cat, /dog and /uselessfact commands from my Discord Bot ~/KLAIR to this Slack Bot ~/SLAIR.

=> I will NOT be adding the AI features in this Slack Bot. (At least for now, I won’t).

Where does the name ~/SLAIR come from?

The name ~/SLAIR comes from the Discord Bot I made earlier /KLAIR but, instead of it being a Discord Bot, it’s a Slack Bot.
