NovaTab is a customizable new-tab dashboard where users can choose what widgets they want, place them anywhere with drag-and-drop, and personalize their appearance with different styles, colors, shapes, and layouts. It combines a playful paper-inspired UI with useful features such as live API-powered information, customizable widgets, draggable windows, and interactive elements.

This is my second ship for NovaTab so I can enter the hourly rating pool. I changed the design to look like a hand-drawn cardboard scrapbook with slight page tilts. I also added new features: you can now click the background to stamp stars on the screen, and you can use the dropdown menus on the notes to change their colors to Chocolate, Mint, or Strawberry. Setting up the NASA API key on Netlify was tough, but I got it working.

made bold borders and shadows in it (UI) and completed both new features: wherever you will click, a Star will come there, and we can change the colour theme of notes widget.

I made NovaTab, a highly customizable browser New Tab dashboard built for the “Give Your Website a Pulse” mission. It features toggleable, editable, and draggable widgets that allow users to design their own workspace layout. It integrates with the NASA APOD API to fetch a beautiful dynamic astronomy picture as a background backdrop every single day.As a beginner who started learning web development recently, the absolute most challenging part was handling absolute drag-and-drop layers in vanilla JavaScript and setting up a stable localStorage system so that widget positions and custom text titles actually stay saved across browser refreshes. I am incredibly proud of getting the in-line double-click text editing feature to work seamlessly, and I am glad I pushed through the bugs to build a functional dashboard foundation! I used some AI for help in coding hard parts in Javascript and CSS but rest everything was done by me.

Added more features and made everything customizable and editable, just double-click on the widget and then edit it! Used Ai for help in coding. (some)

Added many more features like made it look more like our personal real pin board with some inperfections, tape etc. also made sticky note peel off system and a page for it where it is saved and etc. Took a little AI help in some coding.

I am making a project name NovaTab which is a customizable workspace. I have completed with the first 4 steps: Introduction, Project Setup, Github connection and html. Css is remaining, Now I am writing the Javascript.
