Mon Site Personnel

Ship #2

@SMD on Mon Site Personnel · about 1 month ago

I have built a personal website to give you a glimpse of who I am, what my hobbies are and what all technical projects I’ve done.
So, what’s changed since my last ship?
Well, for starters, I added images to all my hobbies and project cards so as to visualize them better. I’ve also added a toggle button to switch between dark and light themes.
In case you are wondering, yes I did manage to debug the error I mentioned in my previous devlog and now my whole site changes to light theme (including my welcome page)

Added image placeholder cards and inserted some images to visualize my hobbies and projects.
Tried to create a toggle button between Dark & Light themes, but I’m having some difficulties with making my entire page change colour. For some reason my first welcome screen does not change into light mode.

Hey SMD!

Love the project however it seem's your code is AI assisted and you haven't declared it. Please declare AI honestly!

Dm @Rohan for any questions.

I have built a personal website for myself. It includes details about my hobbies and projects. I found styling my website to be really, really challenging! But yayy, I overcame it and have built a really cool project!

I hope you enjoy navigating my website as much as I was excited to be making it!

Designed the main title screen for my website along with task bar on top. (Image on the right)

But for some reason, the rest of my website has white background and the texts are not clearly visible. (Image on the left)

I gotta figure out how to correct my code and make my whole website the same navy blue colour, which won’t get affected when the user “scrolls” through my website.

I have been learning html for 3 years now and I think it’s finally time I made a very cool personal site for myself. The code below encompasses the <style> for my personal website. I plan on adding facts about myself, my innovations, my hobbies and contact details.
