Devlog #11: The firmware guide was surprisingly easy, the only reason I took so long on it was because of the compiling wait time and the setup was taking long anyways im done for now all i need to do is flash it!!

devlog #9: I FINALLY FOUND THE COMPONENTS, no one realizes how hard they were to find holy….but anyways I added the components’ footprints and now my PCB looks better, less dry. And then I imported the PCB onto fusion360 so I can add it to my case!!:D almost gave up cause ive been at this for 30 hours literally but I realized i’ve spent too much time on this to just “Give up” so here I am still going

devlog #5: so i ended up redesigning my schematic cause i started getting confused, but after some thorough research I ended up designing the PCB as a 3 key macropad, 4 if you include the rotary encoder cause im still a beginner and i got way too ahead of myself when i thought i couldve done a 3x3 macropad. anyways i finally finished with the design now my next step is to design a case!

devlog #3: Imo making a pcb and a schematic as a first timer is hell, I took inspo from someone cause the guide only showed 3 switches and no rotary switch whatsoever, anyways this is what i have for now, might change it sometime soon

devlog #1: I can tell this is going to be a long project, I learned more about hackpads today and stuff like that for Kicad on youtube and normally people’s first steps would be to start making the PCBs but I’m struggling with the extra symbol libraries, that’s all for this devlog. See you all on the next one!!
