THE AGRIBOT PCB FOOTPRINT (i am getting cooked)

In the last few days I have been working on the AgriBot motion board in KiCad and have reduced the number of DRC violations from 191 to zero. I found that 173 of the violations were due to one particular setting, namely the fact that the default netclass had a 1 mm pad with a 0.9 mm drill, which made me feel like the biggest idiot in the world since it left only a 0.05 mm annular ring for each via. After I changed the drill size to 0.6 mm, all of those errors vanished.

The trace which I had been looking for during the last few days wasn’t really there—it was a missing via. Each of the two sections of the 12v run ended at the same place, one on the front layer and the other on the back layer, but they weren’t connected. This type of error is easy to overlook since the trace appears complete at first sight.

Following that, I changed the fuse holder footprints and put their pads directly onto the existing routes. This resulted in six short circuits on the 12 V rails and on ground. I also realised that fuse (f3) is entirely bypassed since the same net is used on both sides. At the moment I have no intention of carrying out these changes, but I’ll most likely rebuild the whole board since I want to replace the motor drivers and add a few new features. Most of the routing will also be done over again. So yes, If you have been lucky these last few days plz pass some I really need your luck.

My GREENSHIFT rover schematics are FINALLY DONE

one of the most annoying and ragebaiting sessions of all time in kicad but finally got it done. This is the pcb for my project thats called GREENSHIFT its a farm rover that helps you inyour farm and helps you take care of it i just finished the schematics, and i really dont know how i did it with out breaking the screen kicad crashed 2 times and i had to do all of this 3 times, but at least it’s done. I will run ERC and than start routing plz wish me luck because i think I am going crazy
