–––––What i did———
I placed the components to where i want them to be and tried wiring them but couldnt. im going to try and learn how its done or download altium so i can auto wire it.
–––––What im going to do–––––
im going to download altium and auto wire the components if i cant do it myself. im also going to try to finish the base model for the case
–––––What i learnt–––––
I learnt assignment of footprints and basic PCB editing. Found out i have to trace the wires myself even tho the connections are already there. Understood a lot about how PCBs are made and the process to make them.
–––––What i did———–
I finished the schematics and assigned footprints. removed the expander and replaces rotary encoder switch with regular rotary encoder. added oled screed and drew the layout of the macropad i want.
–––––What im going to do———–
Im going to learn how to place components on a pcb and arrange them how i need them to be. im going to try to finish the pcb design and move onto the case model
Schematics of the PCB
–––––What i learnt–––––
I learnt some things about the micro controller and PCB designing. im new to this so i had to research this a little to start to understand the project. I took reference from another project as i found its design similar to what i wanted. i read through all of their devlogs to understand the procedure of doing things.
–––––What i did–––––
I made the schematics for the PCB excluding the oled panel. i couldn’t find how to get it in KiCad. spent some time understanding matrix for further projects. i also learnt about rotary encoders.
–––––What im going to do–––––
Remove the expander and directly connect everything to the micro controller. add the oled pannel and connet it also
