FINALLY DONE YAYYY!!
some updates! first off, I fixed the calculator format because it was weird, remember? now the calculator is in a landscape format! I also added a notes spot so you can write notes, save them, and when reloaded, you can still see them. I learned how to do this in a previous project, if you’d like to see it its on my projects page! anyway, heres a final snippet of how it looks like when you open the OS, and I’m just so excited to see what I can do next!

calculator yumm

yaya complicated app! not much about this one, vscode really knows me so well because it filled up my CSS so nicely! i just need to fix up some css issues that it tdidn’t catch, like this photo you can see below: see how “stormy’s words of wisdom” is at the top of one bar but pusheen’s calculator isnt? i’m pretty sure that I’ll have to change the calculator format first before getting to the next part, but we’ll see tommorow. Anyway, I have the SAT to take tommorow so wish me luck~!

finished some simple apps
YAYAYA I made some simple notes! these feature a guide and some encouragement from pusheen’s siblings, stormy and pip! there were some issued with layering windows, as when you click on one it does not come to the front, but with some help from copilot, I was able to finally figure out the problem, which was a very simple one! here’s how it looks like, i’m so excited since our final step is to create a complicated app!

BOOM BOOM FIRST APP
yayy first app in the making! i tweaked some styling with the format of my OS, like making the handle actually attached to the welcome screen, and closing/opening said screen. I made my first app, stormy’s forecast, which is basically a weather app where pusheen’s sister, stormy, shows you the weather! here’s how it looks!

ps: totally unrelated note: ordered my rpi zero 2w!

welcome screen done!
I’ve finally completed the welcome screen! It looks really adorable, and I really love how its coming together so very nicely. The tutorial is extremely easy to follow, and now that this tutorial is thorough enough, I feel like I am actually understanding how html and css works! js…not so much…anyway here is a snippet of the UI!

my pusheenOS is coming together! I got a bunch of help from the amazingly thorough hackclub tutorial! I finally was able to set the time up and now it works like a real clock! below is how the ui looks like: i love the background and specifically how pusheen’s marshmallow is burnt and pip is on the side just chewing his marshmellow happily! and stormy looks adorable as always!

a new OS is coming to town and its pusheenOS, created by yours truly! considering I learned a lot about html during the website stardance mission, this is going to be really fun! here’s a snapshot of what it looks like right now! i am so excited to see what its going to look like!
