I made a study tab, which has a search engine and various other aspects that I think look good and are also useful for productivity. It has a tasks bar, a widget with Kanye quotes you can keep generating, a search bar that connects to Google, shortcuts to some of my favorite websites, a song, NASAs APOD which updates daily using an API, and the date and time. This was made in HTML, CSS, and JS. It was kind of challenging figuring out the API at first but with the help of the guide I was able to figure out. Overall a fun website to make and I may even use it while studying…

Added shortcuts to Spotify, Github, and Pinterest! Also made the search bar functional (finally), and added the date bar that updates constantly. That was pretty easy since I learnt it in the oS project as well haha. Starting to look more filled!

Added a tasks widget. You can enter tasks, click on them to clear it (check it off), and clear the entire thing. Kind of just did this to delay doing the search bar thing but that’s next actually now. Also tried to make it a little more visually appealing but I still feel like something’s off… hopefully adding a bar with like the date/time and maybe weather will fix that.

I have decided to make a studying kind of tab! I added the nasa photo of the day and also a random kanye quote generator I found online… I also made the search bar in HTML/CSS but it is not functional so next time I will probably be implementing the JS logic for that. So far so good!
