Rover

Basically finished all the major parts of my rover i think. Used the rocker-bogie suspension for tis, i think it will work. The wheel is just a place holder rn. I don’t know if the internal holder thingies are correct yet. Each wheel will have a motor for itsef. It will skit steer to move left and right, atleast that the plan. The front side might become too heavy b/c of the arm. Think everything is correct. Now i need to focus 100% on the electronic side, its actually over. Pray for me 🙏🙏😭

Didn’t do too much today. Fixed the rings not aligning properly when rotating. Had to make a quick fix for my planetary gear box. Also made the base model of the body. Not sure where to put the camera lmao. The proportion looks right, i think the arm can reach the ground. Won’t know until the wheels are put in. Pray it works.

So today i decided to rework my entire arm. I was introduced to planatary gears and realised that i could use that to make my arm less bulky, and now i have made the whole arm section. Next move on to the claw. Also might try to add retractable thingy to pull on the wire when the arm turns. Also decided to add rings so that wires between joints doesnt interfere with the rotation. Hopefully tis works. Using the Nema 17, the thin one for tis.

Finished working on the shoulders. Looks too clunky so might need to change it later. Also finished the forearms, very simple design. Tried to start working on the claw. Might not work but still gonna try. The whole arm looks small or chunky but than i have remind myself that its supposed to be nearly 2 feet when fully stretched 😭😭🙏

Worked on the shouldors, somehow my stupid ahh messed up the dimensions 🙏😭✌️ 5 hours later i have tis. At least i was able to come up with a better design to make instead while putting tis in Oneshape

My first ever CAD design, just finished designing the upper arm, shoulders next 😁. I think the gears make sense 🙏🙏 (red is not part of the upper arm, just a placeholder for the part of the forearm that will be connected later)
