My Own Site! is my personal portfolio and a place to document the things I build, test, experiment with and learn. It includes my projects, programming and development skills, QA testing experience, hackathon experiences, achievements, personal journey, current goals and ways to contact me. I wanted the site to feel personal rather than like a generic portfolio template, so I designed the layout and visual style around my online identity, Mysterious--!, while keeping the site built with HTML and CSS and only a small amount of JavaScript.

The thing I felt challenging was styling the website and encountering the bugs. I’m proud of myself for making my personal portfolio website. People can explore diffrent sections of my portfolio, including my achievements, hackathons, skills and projects. They can also test the navigations, interact with the links and buttons and check how the website looks and works on different screen sizes.

I improved and polished my personal portfolio website with several visual and interactive updates. I worked on the overall styling, layout, sections, spacing, contact area, images and responsiveness to give the website a more complete and consistent feel. I also added smoother scroll-reveal animations, a typing effect, animated statistics, active navigation feedback, a back-to-top button, a scroll progress bar, background/rain effects and custom cursor interactions. Along the way, I fixed bugs and broken elements from the earlier version and improved how my projects, skills, experience, achievements, journey and contact information are presented.Finally, I cleaned up parts of the HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make the website run more smoothly and feel more polished overall.

Tomorrow’s Plan
Quick update: I spent around 5h 6m on the project so far, and I also fixed the remaining bugs in about 20 minutes today.
Tomorrow I want to focus on polishing the site rather than adding a ton of new features. I’ll work on improving the overall design, checking the mobile layout, cleaning up anything that feels inconsistent and making sure everything works properly before shipping.
Goal for tomorrow: polish → test → ship 🚀
