I started designing the case in Fusion 360, but after spending some time getting familiar with the software, I decided to switch to Shapr3D, since I had used it before and felt more comfortable with it.
I completed the PCB design by finalizing the layout. After that I started with an auto-router to get a routed base, then went through and manually cleaned up and optimized the rest by hand.
I’ve almost finished the PCB layout by aligning the parts properly. The only thing that I have to improve in my Layout is the screen.
I’ve started laying out the PCB. Once I saw the four rotary encoders in position, the arrangement looked unbalanced, so I added two more. I still have to Layout my LEDs and Improve the positioning of the screen.
I’ve finished the schematic and assigned footprints to all the components.
I’ve started building this schematic in KiCad and have selected the necessary parts.
