THE CODE IS APPROCHING THE END!!! ============DEV LOG STARDANCE #06 ============================================================ let’s start by the change ! YES every time i make a dev log the project took a new way TT BUT recently i add a logical thing that i don’t even think about it was! the vocal talk as i said the new step was the vocal reconnition (I DID IT) but i forgot to think about the vocal response to so now i end but using gemini ia api when the robot is on wifi and when he went offline he got an LLM that is ~3gb big to handle some litle dicussion with that i also make a litlte vocal order like “go forward” etc… and then i think about the web site the will be the command center ! i stat by making a screen with the lidar map and you can now put a ping on the map and the robot will go to this point (with nav2 use) and i also add the camera follow people thing that now when you choose the follow state your device will show the robot pov and you can choose who you want to track ==== after that a use the litle sg90 motor in the head to make the follow efficient as if the person move fast the camera will turn (max 30° each for each left or right so 60 °) to keep tracking ! == rencently i and the control panel if you choose the manual state where there is joystick for camera and body mouvement == now i’m working on the stabilit sensor (accelerometer) to handle my robot to adapt a minimum to the ground ….. but i’ve got a lot of problem since the launch of the project these are problem about geometry i know geometry is the BASIC but i work a lot on and still have problem to memories COS SIN AND TAN so for that claude ia help me sometimes i ask him to make a schema showing COS SIN TAN that help me choose what to use in the robot and for the stability i need… TAN! depending on the “SPITCH”(incline) of the robot ! yes ia help me… as i’m not a big hardware pro it like my second project to claude help me a lot about ROS/NODE/ROUTE/FLASK/ AND VOSK it just explain me how it work and help me to found the right documentation in the end that me who make the program but the logic how container/linux/node/threading discuss he help me a lot like a professor TT sorry for the big length of the text if you want more redable go to the github i use markdown it’s quite better because i strugle in stardance with markdown (i’m sixteen and a boomer TT) have great day thank to read all of that

HEYYYY dev log #4 i still don’t know how to make my text clear with the markdown in stardance so don’t hesitate to check on my github je journal.md file ========================================================= these recent day i work A LOT ON 3D model and ARTISTIC PATH as i pass a long time doing THE ANIMATION for the face of my robot (turtle) :) i bring back animation i’ve made from and old project “1st keychain” but i had some frames (~140) to match the different state of my robot: MANUAL / FOLLOW / NAVIGATE / STATIC so i’ve been making a turlte face for the follow and maybe the navigate state and the other is juste some cute eyes i’ve made AND i also prepare for the vocal talk so he got Y/N animation ============================================================ then work on the 3D! ( i love 3d but with the time it get hard to keep going as my pc is always crashing and sometimes loosing progression :( the white screen is now a fear ) negativity aside !! i have place the LIDAR (finaly!) and make a hole on the turtle i can not find another way so unfortunatly we got a cylinder in the top that pop up i also think about litle thing like the paw cable that will goes under the last chasis platform so i let a place to allow the cable to pass. now i just start the paw because the remaining thing to do is only the microphone and the paw as they were ready but visualy they weren’t like i wanted to ( my pc crash over 5 time to import 1 texture :/ (like we say in France “relou / chiantos”) =========================================================== i cary on ! i want so much my project to see real life before school/ sport competition/ job (every week + litle vaction ) start again!!! the NEXT STEP ARE : 3D PAW / MICROPHONE 3D / end the big part of code /and send everything!!!! ================================================================================================================================ unfortunatly i pass 10h recording but as i crash so many time the record stop :| so here’s only 10 hours instead of 20h ========================================================================================= so to complete like a second dev log : # DEV LOG STARDANCE #5 today i FINISH the fusion 3d design it was rought and hard as a total beginnier but i guess it was worth it !!! my turtle is finally complete (i just need to delete old garbage try on the file) to came here today i place the lidar and the microphone but when i finish and put the visual chasis i notice some logical gap that were obstucted so i fix it and not in purpose delete the main visual thing… so i pass an hour remake it and a long time to screach if i could found an old save but there were to old to allow me to come that back in the past. so i’m really poud of this 3D model MY FIRST ONE on fusion and REALLY THIS DETAIL i even show it to my friend TT. with this good ending it hope you passing a good day !! ––––––– next step : finish the CODE ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Update the time did COUNT but…. only 10h will be log because the last dev log didn’t work

today i work a lot on the lidar !!! i inplement the mapping file!!! for this time claude ai help me a lot because i doesn’t know any thing on linux and “containers” thing so because i wanted to use some librairy so claude guide me thought “DOCKER” and NAV2 (navigation thought map ) SLAM (mapping with lidar) ODOMETY ( to make the map and calculatd where i am) so it was a llot of neww thing for me like ROS2 (Node pakage) ============================================================ i also learn how to make my robot connected to wifi !!! as with emmc and radxa pcb if i connect one in a wifi it will be save so i just have to make like our phone every time i came somewhere i connect by changing before.txt file 1 time per places!! =========================================================== to end with that i also pass 5 long hour by making the wire design in my 3d model on fusion but my pc is litteraly a potatoes so i crash over 15 times and got to reopen fusion360 over 7 time and every time i lost a bit of progress even if i save sometimes! finnaly i have nearly complete the head (nearly because it left me the microphone to connect) wire design !!! =========================================================== P.S every times i want to ia to explain me i don’t record it evry time as for me it doesn’t really count it’s like watching youtube just with text and specialize for my project. —— the next STEP are finishing the 3D part by implementing the microphone/lidar/ motor cable/and redesign the paw to make them quite like a turtle! for the code the next step are the ia API and LLM depending if the robot is on wifi or not and the camera tracking/ the face animation/ emote( if i can) / the connection to a litle device if i want to control it manualy or give him location to go / the Speach to Text and be able to get order thought vocal reconizing and maybe some day the ability to get over litle obstacle by climbing litle stairs

heyyy dev log stardance #02 ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––========================================================== today i still work on the turtle look and learning texture in fusion it took me a while understnding how to implement texture in fusion but i finally turn to a website call bump mesh i wasn’t aware about this one so before knowing i pass a long time screaching in all fusion parameter !!  I end the 7h hour by having a full designed chasis it just left me to implemant the hole  to put the lidar of the robot on the top next improvement code the lidar (i’ve already start) implemant the lidar on 3D and end the wire schema code the (camera object reconnizing) code the emote (if i succes)* code an vocal reconizing and talking conneted to a device to control him that all for today thank for reading remember if you want to check the github journal

DEV LOG stardance #1!!!! –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––heyyy i’m starting this project as i was already documenting on git hub as i start the project serveral week agi and the hardware wasn’t already functioning so these 2 last days i was thinking about the fact that i wanted my robot to be able to move to a certain point so i remplace the distance sensor for a lidar in all the schema and i also start to make the visual chasis of the robot it will be a TURTLE after thinking about making bt7274 or a cat i finaly choos a turtle look!!
