what’s up guys :)
ignore the nearly two hours for incredibly basic styling lowkey had to reteach myself html lol

main goal of this site is to emulate a linux terminal, with some unique stylised options relating to stuff i like as well. definitely happy with how it looks right now, next thing to work on is the javascript for the input field, not sure how im gonna get the whole command stuff working, might needa do more messing around with divs but we’ll see how it goes

issues i faced

• aligning the text and icons in the top bar (probably spent 80% of my time on this)
• usual issues associated with divs and how fun they are to mess with
• forcing myself to not use ai

how i fixed them

• found an article that literally instantly fixed it
• ^^^
• thugged it out and used the brainpower

stuff i learned:

• properly centering divs (was so terrible never again)
• styling input fields (pretty niche)

stuff i will have to learn:

• javascript, mostly relating to tracking input fields (lowkey scared it’s gonna be hard, don’t hear good things about js)
• actually coding with docs like you would have to pre-ai (genuinely find it so hard to do this but im determined to use no AI)
