i got some recommendations to add shortcuts, time, calendar and some fixes as well out of which i have added shortcuts and time and optimised the search function for enter key. The shortcuts are not customisable yet i will add that later. For now, i have stored the domains of shortcuts in an array, this array will be customisable, and every other function related to the shortcuts will be accessed through the array, and i have used a google favicons link to access the favicons, anyone can check for it in the source code. The time wasn’t that much of an headache, i just followed any youtube tutorial to add it and that’s all the updates for now!

i changed the css of search tab and it took me an awful amount of time to get it all aligned as i changed the search icon and used it as a font from google fonts, it’s still a little bit off centred but that’s the best i could do

I added a global news heading and some css thats it

i added two more news tabs and optimised it a little for phone users

i did some modifications to search bar and added news at the bottom using newsdata.io’s api

i am working on a new tab and first i searched for some api by nasa but only apod worked the best for me so i decided to use it as a background and whenever a youtube link will be posted, a custom image i have selected will appear as background (that you see in the screenshot) then i added some css to the search bar (i got the search icon from google icons)
